There’s a plethora of plays, films and tv shows that have been written by people from Cambridge. Their output has spanned nearly 500 years. The earliest (a brave claim) is Thomas Legge who wrote Richardus Tertius considered the first history play and originally performed at St John’s College. We don’t know who the youngest is as many people seem guarded about their birth date.
As ever, some people may have slipped into other groups. So please check them out before berating us. We do however love critical thinking. We’re always delighted to hear suggestions. We’re terrified that we’ve made factual errors or (god forbid) a spelling mistake. Nip over to the suggestions page if you have something we should know. Especially, birth and matriculation dates.
